In the aircraft engine, many assembly joints are under extreme working conditions such as high-temperature airflow, pressure and fuel flow, which normally affects the metal structure and causes the functions out of work(such as cracks and fatigue). On these critical surfaces, the special Super Alloy Hole Making technique is required to ensure machining consistency and suppress residual internal stress. Chpc has completed the development of hole machining technology on titanium alloys and nickel-based superalloys which is also certified by GE Aviation and 3rd party organization-NADCAP, and this technique allows to control the extreme tolerance by monitoring the speed, feed, load and tool life of the machine while maintaining machining efficiency.
