1. Shot Peening
Shot Peening technology is an effective way to reduce part fatigue and ensure long lifetime. The bead impact treatment is to spray a high-speed bead flow onto the surface of a part, causing a micro-plastic deformation on the surface of the part to form a reinforced layer with minor stress with a certain thickness. Due to the existence of these compressive stress, part of the stress can be offset when the surface of the part is under load of stress and improve fatigue strength. The introduction of the 5-axis CNC technology makes the impingement angle of the bead hit able to applied an uniform compressive stress on to the surface, comply with the requirements of SAE/AMS aerospace specification. This technology has been certified by our customers Safran group, GE Aviation and NADCAP.
2. Sand Blasting
Sand blasting refers to the surface treatment method of sand materials impacting cutting objects, cleaning the surface of mechanical work-pieces, removing rust, removing burrs, processing castings, and enhancing surface treatment. Its principle is to use the high-speed sand flow impact to clean and roughen the surface of the work-piece, thereby improving the mechanical properties of the material surface, fatigue resistance of the work-piece, and enhancing the adhesion of the coating on the work-piece surface. CHPC has two technologies, dry blasting and wet blasting, both have been certified by original customers Safran group and GE Aviation, as well as NADCAP. |
