Chaheng Precision Company has once more cooperated with National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences and National Kangshan Agricultural & Industrial Vocational Senior High School to open a Fifth Program on Precision Mechanics. On July 9th, 2014, CHPC’s vice general manager YU,CYUAN-JHONG signed a cooperation agreement with KUAS’s vice president GUO,DONG-YI and KSVS’s president CHEN,SIANG-YUN.
The first year of Precision Mechanics Program is planned to select 40 students from the department of Mechanical Engineering in KSVS. Two years later, under KUAS’s industry-academic program, the students take the entrance examination through selection process and are admitted into the department of Mechanical Engineering in KUAS. After six years, they can even connect with Master Course or Master Program in the Graduate School of Electronic Engineering, which nurture them to become a professional in Precision Mechanics.
KUAS’s students from the Mechanical Engineering Class of 2011 graduated this June. Their class belonged to the first industry-academic program which was conducted by KUAS, KSVS and CHPC. On account of their professional skills, nine out of ten graduates chose to stay in CHPC. The maximum wage is above $40,000 NTD which breaks the stereotype of low salary of $22,000 NTD. The Precision Mechanics Program utterly practices the aim of Ministry of Education on industry-academy cooperation, which boosts three aspects, the nurture of professional, the stability of labor demand and the care of social justice.
